Hi! I’m Melissa, founder of Mel’s Pierogies. With over 15 years of experience as Director of Catering and Events for prestigious NYC and global institutions like Citi, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, the United Nations, and NBCU, I’ve always had a passion for creating memorable experiences, especially through food.

During the pandemic, I found myself craving pierogies, but they were hard to come by in my neighborhood. So, I taught myself the art of making them, and after lots of trial and error, I perfected a delicious pierogi with rich, smooth, and delicate dough, using only the highest quality ingredients.

As a mom in Riverdale, my toddler is a huge fan of his "mama's pierogies," and I’m thrilled to share these comforting creations with you. I believe food is one of the best ways to bring joy and comfort. The possibilities are endless, and I can't wait to share them with you!
